Midnightdate was created in 1997 on the initiative of Łukasz Marut, Zbigniew Puchała and Katarzyna Biernat.
From the very beginning, Midnightdate performed music composed of various stylistic currents of broadly defined metal. The band toured on the local and foreign metal stage. Midnightdate was the winner of the Gliwice Rock Band review. In 2005, Midnightdate suspended operations until 2016.
